Sunnyvale, CA --- May 6, 2007: DCRE Labs announced today that it has launched a new survivor locator database on its FamilyMessages.Org website for the use of those affected by the recent severe weather in the Great Plains region, particularly Greensburg, Kansas. The system allows friends, families and survivors to leave messages for one another on the website and provides a full-text search capability specifically designed to help people find one another.
 
The site is free and available to the public at http://greensburg.familymessages.org.
 
The FamilyMessages platform was originally developed to assist those displaced by Hurricane Katrina, and remains ready to support future disaster recovery efforts as needed. The service is provided and funded by DCRE Labs, LLC. Dan Chaney, President of DCRE Labs, said "Already having this platform in place in the event of a disaster, we're able to quickly deploy the system for an unexpected event such as this.
